Herringbone

In black and white, this photo I had taken of a Silver Fern brings to mind a herringbone pattern (so named for its resemblance to the skeleton of a herring fish). The fern fronds are quite orderly, but what makes this photo interesting to me is the one rouge frond in the center right that curves in a different direction than all the rest.
