Little Goldstar Galaxy

Little goldstar (aka black-eyed susan) backlit in the early evening sun. With such a dense mass, the pistols become black dots among a tangle of stems and leaves. I’ve been working more in B&W lately, and for this image, removing the color emphasized the circular pistols more than the flowers. This is still in the idea phase, but maybe there’s something there.
